I found this cartoon and I found it very comical. It shows the NSA drilled holes into the O's in the two most popular search engines to show how much they are monitoring us. It applies to our discussion from previous classes that no matter what we do, the government knows.
This reminds of me of "Ex Machina". Nathan was easily able to find out what kind of person Caleb was based on his Google searches. It's a scary thought to realize that people can find out who you are just based on your searches. Just like professor Williams explained, if you happen to be near a crime scene and they check your google searches and find that you searched "knife", but you were only looking for a kitchen knife for cooking, it can and may be used against you. Are we ever really safe and/or protected then?
