Women in science and technology

I found this article very interesting because the very first person who is mentioned is Ann Caracristi, who was a code breaker like Alan Turing.  While Alan Turing was had the Turing Test named after him, Ann Caracristi has little to no recognition for the accomplishments which she provided during WWII.

  1. I read this article also. It is disappointing to think that just because she is a woman she is not getting any recognition, but in reality that is the scary truth. I did not even know who Grace Marie Hopper was until we had to learn her for the test we just had, and her impact on technology and her persistence to fight in WW2 was inspiring to learn about. Women should receive just as much recognition as men do, I will never understand why they do not.
